CINDYWorkout Tracker
Your device. Your workout.

Privacy, in plain terms.

CINDY: Workout Tracker is designed to analyse workouts on your Apple device. It does not require an account and does not send your camera frames or workout history to a CINDY server.

Camera and motion analysis

If you grant camera access, CINDY analyses camera frames on your device to estimate exercise repetitions. The camera feed is not uploaded to CINDY for remote processing. You can revoke camera access in iOS or iPadOS Settings.

Workout history and optional recording

Workout results and history are stored locally by the app on your device. Optional video or diagnostic capture is off by default. If you turn it on, the resulting files remain under the app's local control until you delete them or explicitly export or share them. iOS device backups and destinations you choose to share with are managed outside CINDY.

Apple Health

If you choose to enable Apple Health saving and grant permission, CINDY can save a completed workout summary to Health. CINDY may check for a matching CINDY workout to avoid saving a duplicate. Health data is handled by Apple Health on your device and is not sent to a CINDY server. You can change Health permissions in Settings.

Information CINDY does not collect

CINDY has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote workout inference. The app does not upload camera frames, workout results or optional recordings to CINDY. If you use the iOS share sheet to export a file, that transfer follows the destination and choices you select.

Children and sensitive information

CINDY is a general workout tracker, not a medical service. Please do not use it to assess medical conditions or as a substitute for professional advice. Do not include personal or sensitive information in beta feedback unless it is needed to explain a product issue.

Changes and questions

This policy may change as the app develops. TestFlight beta participants can contact the developer using the feedback options in TestFlight. The current beta description explains how to report a workout issue.
